Knowing About Tooth Decay
Most people are unaware of the underlying causes of tooth decay. All parents warn their children’s risk of eating candy and not brushing their teeth, but behind a carious lesion there are enough factors involved in its formation.
Therefore, we assume that caries is a multifactorial disease, but what are these factors?.
There are some factors that must always be present for the formation of caries such as micro-organisms, carbohydrates, susceptibility tooth and the time factor.
