Spring Allergies

An allergy is the exaggerated response of the immune system to foreign substances or organisms known as allergens. When a person is exposed to a substance which is not normally harmful, such as dust, their immune system reacts as if the substance was harmful, causing physical symptoms uncomfortable.
Many people suffer from allergies in spring, with the pollen allergen-free air or more common outside of the season, but also herbs and grasses can cause an allergic reaction.
In recent decades, more and more people have begun to suffer from seasonal allergies, and this is due to two factors associated with modern life: pollution and climate change.
The effect of environment on our health
On the one hand, pollution makes people more vulnerable to allergens agents that abound in the air we breathe, but also, research has shown that high levels of carbon dioxide and temperature associated with global warming play a priority role in the cycles of the plants because they bloom early and produce more pollen.
With more agents allergens during longer periods, it is natural for people to suffer allergy symptoms for longer.
