Diarrhoea
Discovering Some of the Diarrhoea Causes
Diarrhoea is a condition where the stool is very watery or semi solid and you will pass motion more than three times in a day. The disease can be divided into two types, i.e. acute and chronic. The acute condition is not severe and it will stop after several days. However, sometimes acute diarrhoea can become severe among children so you need to bring your child to a doctor if the symptoms are severe.
The chronic condition takes longer to be cured and it needs a proper diagnosis so that a suitable treatment can be given to the patient. Diarrhoea causes are quite a few, but keep in mind that the disease can affect everybody regardless of gender and age.
Some diarrhoea causes among babies are due to milk intolerance and reactions to vaccination. If milk intolerance is the cause, you need to keep changing the baby formula until you find one that doesn’t cause diarrhoea to your child. If the cause is due to reactions to vaccination, the diarrhoea will stop in a few days and what you need to do is to feed your baby with purified water together with his regular milk. It is best to ask your doctor on the appropriate amount of water you should give to your baby.
Bacteria and laxatives can also be some of the diarrhoea causes. Seek your doctor’s advice as soon as possible to prevent your condition from becoming worse.
