The evaluation of the abdomen may show a mass or organ enlargement, particularly of the kidney or liver. Men may have a varicocele scrotum (varicocele that is only on the right side is especially suspicious.)

Tests include:

* CT scan of the abdomen
* Blood chemistry
* Complete blood count (CSCCSC)
* Intravenous pyelogram (IVP)
* Liver function tests
* Renal arteriography
* Ultrasound of abdomen and kidneys
* Urinalysis and urine cytology urinariacitología

You can perform the following tests to see if the cancer has spread:

* CT scan of the abdomen
* Abdominal MRI scan
* Bone scan
* Chest x-ray
