Aromatherapy is based on the use of natural essential oils extracted from trees, shrubs, herbs and flowers from around the world. It is a holistic science that promotes the physical, mental and spiritual. Through it seeks to surface the innate healing processes in every person, in response to the scents.
When choosing, it is essential to check that this is pure oils, natural and undiluted, as the armed lack the chemical properties of the plant. Each essential oil aroma and provides a particular effect, as the plant from which it was obtained.
How does and why its effectiveness
Through the nose: to inspire small molecules of essential oil found in the air (evaporation by stoves, or direct inhalation) are carried to the lungs where gas exchange occurs, the process by which they pass into the circulatory system .
Through the skin by applying creams, lotions, oils, aroma baths, compresses (cold or hot). The tiny molecules of essential oil penetrate the skin (epidermis) and reach the deeper layer (dermis), where the numerous capillaries that are in it absorb them, transporting them to the circulatory system.
I agree with this post. I use natural aromatherapy for myself. It really soothes me and keep me relax.
